Leadership is key to the success of any organization. At Alvarado Hospital
and Prime Healthcare Services, we have a diverse management team that
brings years of experience, expertise, and dedication to meeting the healthcare
needs of our community. Said leadership ensures that patients will receive
superior care at Alvarado Hospital.
MD, FACC, FCCP,
serves as Chairman of the Board of Prime Healthcare Services. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular
Disease at the Down State Medical Center, S.U.N.Y. in Brooklyn, New York.
In 1981, he moved to California and established his medical practice in
the High Desert area of Southern California. Dr. Reddy is double Board-Certified
in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. He was awarded the honor of becoming
a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology ("FACC") and
a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians ("FCCP").
During his 25 years of practice in the High Desert, he was committed to
the service of his patients and performed more than 5,000 cardiac procedures,
including coronary angiography and angioplasty and permanent pacemaker
In 2016, Dr. Reddy was named among the
"100 Most Influential People in Healthcare" by
Modern Healthcare. This is the third time that Dr. Reddy has been recognized as among the
most influential healthcare leaders in the nation, along with President
Michael Sarian serves as President of Hospital Operations for Prime Healthcare Services. He also serves as. He has over 25 years of executive management experience
in healthcare that includes serving as a multi-hospital CEO, a multi-specialty
medical group CEO, hospital CFO and in other senior executive and finance
Before coming to Prime Healthcare, Mike was at Prospect Medical Holdings
for seven years and in charge of all hospital operations. Prior to joining
Prospect, he was CEO of Heritage Medical Group in Harrisburg, PA.
Mike has a master's degree in business administration from the University
of La Verne, College of Business and Public Management; and a bachelor's
of science in business administration, accounting and finance, from California
State University, Los Angeles. He is also active in various community,
charity and civic organizations.
Robin Gomez, RN, BSN, MSN,
serves as Administrator of Alvarado Hospital. In this role, she oversees the strategic direction, operations and physician
relations, as well as maintains overall leadership responsibility for
the hospital and key programs. She has more than 20 years of diverse healthcare
experience with progressive management positions, including most recently
as vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer at
Loma Linda University Medical Center in Murrieta. Prior to that, Robin
was the chief nursing officer at Paradise Valley Hospital in National
City, Alvarado’s sister facility.
Robin has a strong background in implementing effective, high-quality healthcare
combined with service excellence. She earned a bachelor’s degree
in nursing from Loma Linda University and a master’s degree in nursing
administration from Norwich University in Vermont. Read Robin's

Larry Emdur is the Chief Medical Officer and a board-certified internist/pulmonologist. He completed his training
in medicine and pulmonary at the Cleveland Clinic in 1984 and has practiced
both hospital-based and office-based pulmonary medicine in San Diego since then.
He holds a PhD in microbiology from the University of Pittsburgh, an MBA
from California State University and has received advanced training from
The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. He also is a clinical faculty
member at Western University of Health Science in California where he
teaches medical students
RN, BSN, MHA,
is Chief Nursing Officer at Alvarado Hospital. Having served in various management positions at the hospital since 2006,
Peggy has more than 25 years of nursing leadership and clinical experience.
Her responsibilities include oversight of more than 300 nurses, nursing
and clinical operations, clinical education and overall patient care and safety.
Her goal as the CNO is to strengthen collaborative relationships with physicians,
the nursing management team and the nursing staff, as well as oversee
a successful transition of Alvarado Hospital nurses to the 14-hospital
Prime Healthcare Services system. Peggy received her bachelor’s
degree in nursing and master’s of health administration from the
University of Phoenix.
Marilyn Anderson serves as Alvarado Hospital's Chief Financial Officer. Marilyn has more than 20 years of hospital finance experience, mostly recently
as Alvarado Hospital controller. She manages the financial departments
and produces all financial statements.
Before coming back to Alvarado Hospital in 2007, she worked at St. Vincent
Medical Center in Los Angeles, as well as a handful of hospitals within
the Tenet Healthcare organization both in California and Texas. She received
her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix.
Her goal as CFO is to help the hospital grow financially, so it can continue
to provide excellent medical care to the members of the community.
is Alvarado Hospital's Director of Human Resources. In this role, she is responsible for the entire HR function, including
recruitment, retention, compensation administration and employee relations.
She has more than 10 years of progressive management experience and has
been with Alvarado Hospital for six of those years. Her goal as HR director
is to develop and foster working relationships with management and employees
at all levels and maintain a positive employee relations climate.
She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the American
Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration. She has a bachelor’s
degree from California State University, Chico.
