MOVIE PREMIER OF "STILL ME" DEPICTS LIFE POST-STROKE

10-28-2011

The award-winning short film "Still Me” was premiered in San Diego at Alvarado Hospital on Oct. 28, 2011. The film features Roseanne (played by Tina Gloss from "Pushing Daisies”) and Jack (played by Scott King from "Marked”), who had their lives well-balanced, living for the moment, yet leaning on one another as a loving married couple. Neither is prepared when Jack is suddenly struck down by a life-changing stroke.

This heart-warming but realistic drama delivers strong performances that leave the relatively young Roseanne and Jack to face new challenges in learning how to relate to each other in the aftermath of this life-changing event.

Winner of the 2008 Best Short Film—Audience Award at the Big Bear Lake Film Festival, and the 2008 Best Family Film—Secret City Film Festival, is produced and directed by stroke survivor Beth McElhenny. It is recommended film for any family who must overcome tremendous struggle and redefine their relationships.
