Randy Jones Joins Our One-of-a-Kind Golf Tournament Pairs Abled-bodied Golfers from Community/Physicians with Neurologically and/or Physically Challenged Golfers TODAY

TODAY, SEPT. 15, 1:30-5 P.M. – MISSION VALLEY AREA

  • WHAT: San Diego’s only golf tournament to pair physically challenged golfers (stroke, brain injury, MS survivors, wounded warriors, amputees, etc.) with able-bodied players to showcase golf as a therapy tool. Great human interest stories and visuals for uplifting news story. This is not a fundraiser. Former Padres pitcher Randy Jones is emceeing and golfing.
  • WHEN: Thursday, Sept. 15, Putting Contest 1-1:30 / Shotgun Start – 2 p.m.
  • WHERE: Riverwalk Golf Club, 1150 Fashion Valley Road, San Diego 92108
  • WHO: Great human interest stories and visuals. All types of golfers participate including survivors of traumatic brain injury and stroke, amputees, wounded warriors, etc. Great uplifting story for the today’s news cycle. Interviewees can discuss how restorative golf has changed their lives and PGA Golf Professional John Klein can discuss how he adaptive golf so golfers can work around their challenges to get out of the house. Adaptive golf requires balance, hand-eye coordination, stamina and commitment
