Adaptive Golf

Adaptive Golf

Golf has been found to be a therapuetic tool for those overcoming a physical challenge. Golf is a great way to improve coordination and focus whether or not the patient played golf prior to the injury or disability. In addition, family members are encouraged to participate in golf outings to encourage socialization.

Modifications are made to swing technique and equipment in adaptive golf with the help of instructor John Klein, PGA. Klein has more than 35 years of experience providing golf instruction to individuals with disabilities.

To put new skills to the test, the annual SoCal Rehab Golf Tournament is held each fall and provides adaptive and able-bodied golfers to join forces in a four-player scramble format.
