Regular support group attendance is an important element of your post-operative success. It has been documented that patients who attend regular support group meetings experience greater weight loss, and maintain their weight loss more successfully than patients who do not attend support groups. Attending support groups before surgery is a great way to obtain good knowledge of how to live with weight-loss surgery. All adult patients, friends and family are welcome to attend.
