Food Services

Each patient meal is prepared by on-site staff and is individualized based on doctor's orders. You may make selections daily. The menu will include items with only the finest, freshest ingredients. Each request is cross-referenced with doctor’s orders to ensure our patients’ health and safety. There is a cafeteria on the first floor and vending machines on each floor (see more details below). • Breakfast is served Monday through Friday from 6:45 a.m. to 10 a.m. On Saturday, Sunday and holidays, breakfast is served from 6:45 a.m. to 9 a.m.
• Lunch and dinner is served Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, lunch is served 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Marie Callender's Restaurant is located at 6950 Alvarado Road, 619-465-191, Hours: M-F 11-10, F 11-11, Sat 9-11, Sun 9-10
  • Marie Callender's serves up a wide variety of classic American foods, including pot pies, turkey dinners, BBQ ribs, specialty salads, a salad bar and pies. Take out is available.
• DZ Akin's Deli is located at 6930 Alvarado Road, 619-265-0218, Hours: Sun-Th 7am - 9pm, Fri-Sat 7am -10pm
  • The lunch and dinner menu features more than 100 sandwiches, as well as corned beef and cabbage, roast brisket of beef, stuffed cabbage rolls, cheese blintzes, lox, borscht, bread pudding and potato knishes. A variety of ethnic foods are offered, as well as sundaes, shakes, malts and sodas.
