The sexual medicine program at Alvarado Hospital, led by an internationally respected expert, is a multidisciplinary healthcare facility providing compassionate, state-of-the-art, evidence-based clinical management for men and women with sexual health concerns.
 
The program provides patient care, education and research in the field of sexual medicine. Sexual medicine attempts to improve sexual health through the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of conditions or diseases that involve sexual function.
 
At Alvarado Hospital, we take your sexual health seriously because we take your health seriously. Your sexual dysfunction may be an indicator of a dangerous health problem of which you or your primary care physician are not yet aware.  We recognize the personal nature of these issues and treat our patients with the utmost sensitivity and compassion.
 
  • For men, the arteries in your penis are smaller than in your heart. Having erectile dysfunction is like having a heart attack in your penis. Taking care of your erectile dysfunction literally may save your life.

Supporting services include bariactrics, endocrinology, gynecology, neurology, oncology, psychiatry, rehabilitation and sleep medicine.
 
The Alvarado Hospital operating room is equipped with a special procedure table and microscope for penile revascularization surgery. Our clinicians are specially trained to be sensitive to your needs and provide quality care.
