Surgical Waiting Room Volunteers



Surgical Waiting Room (Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-3 p.m.)
 
Visitors and family members are often anxious while waiting for news on their loved one's surgery. This position requires a volunteer who is compassionate.
 
Typical volunteer duties include:
  • Provide information and updates to patients’ family and friends
  • Offer words of support and encouragement
  • Provide coffee/tea, candy, and newspaper
